Site Inspection to Semporna: Regatta Lepa Part I

Hey all you bloggers, it's the starting of May and I bet everyone has a story to post.

But first, I just came back from Site Inspection from Regatta Lepa and fews island in semporna, and what I get are MOST GREAT EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE ( ....and culture - shock too). Yes, you just might wondering what we're doing during the Site Inspection,...well there's 10 of us and mostly are the newcomer to Islands in Semporna. The temperature are not far from different from Kota Kinabalu, just slightly hotter

We have reached the Main Gateway to Semporna.
Welcome to Semporna!!!

This is the place where we staying for two days of Regatta Lepa Event.
This place are called the Dragon Inn, (Well....since on day time it's too crowded with people, in my opinion you won't feel safe until you reach the entrance to Dragon Inn...hahaha)

This Fish is a real fish (I forgot what was it called....)hang as deco for attraction inside Dragon Inn.

Internet here are quite expensive though

After we check-in to our room, then off we for sightseeing to downtown area of Semporna

Visits to WWF Booth, they sold traditional souvenirs for the locals and tourist, nice traditional bracelet actually.

One with red cap is my interesting friend Alisia A. We're standing just next to the sculpture of Regatta Lepa.

Next we went to the Market...as you can see, theres a lot things you can buy, foods and drinks...and off course LOTS, A LOTS OF LOCAL HANDICRAFT AND SOUVENIRS!!

Everybody was very hungry so we went to Mabul Cafe which are located upstairs of a blue building where below it was a fish storage Market

Late afternoon, we went to Proboscis Monkey River Cruising and as soon as we reach there, we saw a lots cute but bit naughty monkeys hehehehe...Even the manager there said we have to be extra careful with our belongings as the monkeys can just grab your bags or camera.

This one is the Coconut Crab, hermit crab species and it is the largest land-living arthropod in the world, and is probably at the upper size limit of terrestrial animals with exoskeletons in today's atmosphere. Looks freaky actually, but they were actually quite shy...for now

Tea Break and leisure time

After tea break, the manager brief us more information about the proboscis and gave some advise not to yell or shout as we must respect the spirit of the jungle and yelling and shouting off course makes the wild habitats run away and hide.

Time to go back but before we do, we all had dinner not just all staff of STB but also SPS staff. After dinner off to Dragon Inn, Goodbye Beautiful Nature

Workday and Event

Yes, hence the title I'm working for weekends and it's been really tiring and frustrating weeks as I don't have any day off for two weeks!
Oh well...

It's a same routine every weeks where everytime I go work, early in the morning I started out at 0800am ( supposed to be at 0900am) and arranging all the brochure about accomodation, tour package, and more. And in case you don't know, the place where I work doesn't provided tour package or arrange booking because we only provide information ON WHERE tourist should do the booking and place of interest in Sabah. Then on 1600pm, work are done and went home early. If I were hungry, I usually eat hot noodle before going back home, so I don't have to prepare dinner.

It was sunny day this morning, love the spring-like breeze....until it shower just now and the only thing that I know is only few tourist coming and more spare time for blogging...nah

Anyway, planning to buy some kashi pant for my upcomming event - The Regatta Lepa. This is the first time I will be going out from west of Sabah and will be going to the east of Sabah (The Regatta Lepa event will organized at Semporna). For more info about the The Regatta Lepa, you can click here.

I haven't post anything lately but just by looking at the title of the day makes me want to tell all you blogger out there about my trip to Gaya Island, One of five island from Tunku Abdul Rahman Park here in Sabah. But today I'll just give the hint on todays post.

My Last Report!

Hey all you bloggers! Well I finally have reach my last week of Practical month, and yes thats mean I had to send my report to my lecturer, Ms C (not a real name). Last week, I discuss with her about the assignment and she said it's okay if student want to send their report two weeks after the last date of Practical month. Thank God!

Well...the bad news is I haven't finish my report yet (only 70% )and I still have two weeks to finish it. Yes I know but since I'm in the Tourism Industry, I'm getting more busier and don't even have much time to spend quality time with my family. As the result, on the day I discuss my last assignment with Ms. C, right after I left her room and walk straight to the staircase next to the door, I fell down and hurt my arm and my left leg . And more embarassing, there were too many student of ATIC and none of them have the guts to help me (...probably they don't know me? )and a security and an ATIC lecturer in culinary Art saw me and do nothing. God, this really EMBARASSING! Then I got up and calmly and say...."Thats okay, I'm alright, it was just a 'CUTE MISTAKE'."
Come to think of it, back then I must have been really crazy by saying that...hehehehe

I came back to STB and some of my colleague asked about my horrible condition, and when I told them...laughs is all I heard around me. God!
Oh well, That's life treating my on that day.

Hey all you blogger, it's me again. Whoa...it's been three weeks since I left my blog, well life getting busier I guest. Well yesterday my twin sister asked me why I haven't found myself a boyfriend yet? I don't think it as a stupid question actually in fact I'm thinking of someone lately but didn't dare to think it as 'LOVE AFFECTION'.


My sister once told me (...okay thats a lie, she told me millions of times)that you'll get a few symptoms and here are some list she told me


12. You’ll read his/her txts over and over again…
11. You’ll walk really really slow while you’re with him/her…
10. You’ll pretend 2 be shy whenever you’re with him/her…
9. While thinking bout him/her…your heart will beat faster and faster…
8. By listening to his/her voice…you’ll smile for no reason.
7. While looking at him/her..you cant see the other people around you…you can only see that person…
6. You’ll start listening to SLOW songs.
5. He/She becomes all you think about

Okay...so not all are wrong but the thing is, I don't want to take 'love story' into the next level or whatsoever, and I don't care, I have great and big family and thats enough for me. For me, even if I had a crush on someone or anybody, I might just keep it as a secret.


Talk about crush, I once had a friend ( part-time friend when I was working at a department store once) she had a crush on this one guy (I say he's more like a JERK) and that guy was actually married with one children.

I still remember that one rainy night 2009 before all of us want to close the store, sudddenly a lady with a boy holding her hand yelling toward my friend and start a chicken fight toward each other. Well my friend didn't know who she is, but the lady said my friend had take away her husband and claim that the husband never come back a few nights back. Then, while they were fighting, the husband ( which is actually that JERK) came in and slapped the wifes right on her face...yes children were crying, my supervisor shouting toward them and telling them to stop....I was 17 back then that night was really a for suprised me , and I realized not all people can be trusted, even now my manager told don't trust 100% to your colleagues or friends. Since then I don't give 100% my trust on people I that I know.

Conclusion?
Love means always saying you’re sorry. nobody will ever be perfect enough to never make mistakes. the is why love cannot possibly be never having to say your sorry unless you only love yourself. If you really love somebody it should mean always saying your sorry yet knowing that you never have to.

I am thinking of new activity for for my weekends. Suddenly I'm thinking of ....DANCING!!!





...well or maybe just concentrate on my report

Working overtime on Saturday and don't know want to do beside handling guest and give out information about place of interest in Sabah. Well it wouldn't be as bad as you'll think it is but I just went through all my overtime work schedule and guest what? I have 7 date of duty performed on my claim payment paper and I quite suprise about my commitment about my work. Well I'm not that kind like you would say "HARDWORKING" or "WORKHOLIC" but I really want to be like one!(Honestly, I not a sit-back-and-relax type of person).

Oh well...
